Supporting the work
Civics Lab is an early-stage initiative, built on the conviction that this work is worth doing before anyone has agreed to pay for it. Contributions from individuals and funding organizations let it grow deliberately, and keep it independent of the interests it exists to hold to account.
What your support makes possible
Developing Civics Lab
Building and maintaining the platform, the method, and the infrastructure that lets circles do their work: the site, the documentation and archive, and the near-term steps of establishing the organization on a sound legal and operational footing.
Sustaining engagement and support
Helping circles and projects keep going: the practical support, guidance, and continuity that turn a single action into sustained civic work, and that keep participants from having to build everything from scratch.
Research and development
Extending the breadth and reach of the work: developing new kinds of projects, sharpening the method, and building the tools and materials that let Civics Lab serve more communities and more kinds of civic problems.
Make a contribution
Individuals and organizations are both welcome here. Tell us how you would like to contribute and we will follow up directly.
Questions?
If you would like to talk before contributing, whether as an individual or on behalf of an organization, we would welcome the conversation.
